While I'm not really into the movies from the 1950's I really love these old magazines for the advertising.  The 1950's was a time when smoking was still glamorous and people used some very unusual products like cream based deodorant that works for 1 to 3 days or Vaseline shampoo and do it yourself permsYou also see some survivors like Cadbury Chocolate and Ribena and some ads you hope to never see in a modern magazine such as cures for Syphilis.
